RINK COORDINATOR

Ensure rink information is forwarded to the newsletter coordinator

Coordinate Maintenance of the rink with the group of volunteers

Advise WUHCA board on yearly budget, equipment needs for rink maintenance

Provide reports and updates and attend monthly WUHCA board meetings (Sept – June)

Coordinate supervision of family skate times (6 hours per week)

Open and close shack at the start and end of season with the group of volunteers

Communicate rink information for the newsletter, website and Facebook with other coordinators

BASKETBALL COORDINATOR

Organize and coordinate registration and develop team lists for the SMBA league

Pass on all information from SMBA to coaches, including rules and regulations

Ensure there are sufficient coaches for the teams and the coaches are aware of their duties

Keep in contact with coaches to ensure things are running smoothly

Keep coaches informed about league regulations

Distribute and collect equipment at the beginning and end of the season

Develop budget for basketball yearly

Communicate program information for the newsletter, website and Facebook with other coordinators

Provide monthly progress reports to the WUHCA board as needed.


ASSISTANT SOCCER COORDINATOR – assist the Soccer Coordinator with the following:

Help organize and coordinate community soccer program for the association in cooperation with Saskatoon Youth Soccer

Help recruit coaches for kindersoccer and U5 age groups.

Distribute schedules and equipment to coaches (with coordination of equipment coordinator)

Coordinate with coaches the collection and return of uniform deposit for kindersoccer and U5 teams

Attend monthly executive board meetings

Skills Preferred: Organization, Diplomacy, multitasking, scheduling and commitment
