Are you ready for another fun and successful garage sale?
All that spring cleaning has got us thinking it’s time!
(‘Cause there are only so many snowmen you can build on a weekend with this much snow!)
Our annual community garage sale will be May 7, 8, & 9 from 9am to 5pm (these are just a guide for buyers, you are free to set up when works for your family).
We will advertise our WUHCA community garage sale for everyone’s benefit through our WUHCA website directory, magnetic signs in the community, and on Kijiji. WUHCA members are welcome to register for the sale by contacting email@example.com. Your address will be added to our directory & pdf map listed on our website for no additional charge. Don’t have a membership? We can fix that. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get one for $15. After the sale, there is an option to have community living come through our community and pick up on their next run.
Keep up to date with all of our events at Willowgrove University Heights Community Association Facebook page. Happy organizing!
Seriously. What a great turn out. Thanks to the schools and all the community members who came out with kids in tow to help clean up our community. Thanks to Pink Cadillacs for providing the hot chocolate and coffee, Point Optical for the snacks and extra help making sure everyone was taken care of, and to TCU, Zach Jeffries, and Willowgrove Moms for cleaning up in the trenches with us. See our Facebook page for lots more pictures.
Now that we have got it started, don’t be shy: pick up trash on your walk around the neighbourhood. Why not carry a shopping bag for your walk to and from school? Every little bit helps. Thank you!
Earth Day Clean Up- Come out and help collect trash from the parks and around the community. Snacks and supplies provided in Willowgrove Square. Everyone welcome! Come help us make our green spaces safe and clean for the summer ahead! Coffee and hot chocolate provided by Pink Cadillac’s.
