We would like to take this opportunity to introduce a new program for children ages 2-5 called HappyFeet. HappyFeet is owned and operated by the ASTRA Soccer Academy and is designed to work in conjunction with SYSI Mini-Soccer. Please see the details below regarding HappyFeet.
Who: Classes for 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds
What: HappyFeet focuses on the acquisition of physical literacy and the development of gross motor skills while teaching children to master the ball from an early age. Through the use of stories, songs, nursery rhymes and childhood games, children begin to develop agility, balance, coordination, strength and flexibility. All classes are 30 minutes in length and each child has their own ball for the entire duration of the class. HappyFeet is essentially play time with a ball!
Where: New classes are constantly being added; visit http://www.happyfeetsask.ca/content/happyfeet-programs to view the most current class locations.
When: HappyFeet classes run one day per week for a six week period. Summer classes are weekday evenings, while winter and fall classes often run weekend afternoons.

Kindersoccer starts May 14, 2014. Games will be played from 6pm-6:45pm to allow for the 7pm teams to access the field on time. If your coach has made arrangements to play 6:15-7pm, and that works for better for everyone, great. We just need to be off the field on time. Here is the field map we will be using for team spacing. We have 14 teams of about 11 kids/team. So, please head to the number that matches your team on this map. At this time there are no markers on the field for the numbers, so please look at the map. After the first night you will be able to find your teams by shirt colour. Please contact your coach or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. See you there!
